This regional event will be the first of 2 oval regional qualifying races for the Southwest region, and the first held in Phoenix at R/C Sports Mania Raceway.

• 1/10 NasCar 4-cell Stock
• 1/10 NasCar 4-cell Mod*
• 1/10 NasCar 4-cell 19T
• 1/12 NasCar 4-cell Stock

Friday is for practice. Registration for the event closes at 7pm that evening. Saturday morning before the event starts there will be additional open track time for practice and tech. Four qualifiers will follow to conclude Saturday's racing. Sunday all lower mains and then the A mains. The dirt track will be shut down for the weekend to help keep the weekend event at a reasonable time length.

• Any ROAR legal motor is allowed for Stock and 19T classes (they will be teched)
• ROAR rules apply (this is not a ROAR sanctioned event so ROAR membership is not required)
• Foam tires only for all classes
• 6 car entries make up a class

The 20 races will be divided among 4 regions, with each region getting 2 on-road and 2 oval qualifying races each. Only racers with permanent residence in a state within a given region can compete at the respective regional qualifiers

Plenty of hotels, restaurants and other immenities (All a Sailor could want, LOL) within a couple of miles ... plus a canal to deposits ill handling cars ... HA!

The weather will be just about right in October, so summer clothing will still be in vogue... we don't wear "coats" until January...

Bring your young ones, we have a Junior Pan Car Novice Class, stock 4 cell, Jordan McCunn, Sean Fleek, and Jacob McCoy are our local hot-shoes and they are just waiting for more competition ... they are 8 - 12 years old! Just being associated with a Regional Race would be a big thrill for these young ones. The Racers Dad's are something to watch too! All racers are welcome. RCSM has hosted several regional and national races in the past 2 years, plus a Pan Car Shoot Out, I've met a lot of new people at these events, but no strangers ... everyone has had a lot of fun and entertained by good food, good racing, plus the light hearted racing bantering that always goes on...
